Bachelor of Applied Science

Registration Overrides

Reminders

PLAN AHEAD: Before registration begins, meet with or email your academic advisor to go over the classes you are planning to take and request the appropriate overrides. Make sure you are eligible to register for a particular course by checking the prerequisites/co-requisites and restrictions in the catalog

Prerequisite Reminder: Many upper-level IT courses will give you a prerequisite error, even if you do meet the prerequisites. This is because the system looks for a grade of B or better in IT prerequisites, and most transferred in courses will simply have a grade of “T”.

Override requests are processed by our BAS advisors in the order in which they are received.

Instructions

* BAS advisors can only issue overrides for BAS or IT courses when the appropriate prerequisites have been met. The only exception is for DFOR courses- BAS advisors will forward your request to the Digital Forensics program for processing, provided you meet the requirements. For all other courses, please contact the department offering the course for assistance.
