The priority deadline for Fall admission is March 1.
Admissions will accept late applicants on a space-available basis.
While you are encouraged to discuss the Admissions application with your BAS advisor, please note that BAS advisors are not directly involved in the Admissions process and can only provide general guidance. You can contact Admissions if you need specific questions answered.
How to Apply
You will apply online on the Admissions website. Below are some tips you may find helpful:
- For your Academic Interest, select Applied Science–BAS as your major. You will be prompted later in the application to select your concentration.
- The personal essay is not required, but is encouraged. Letters of recommendation are not required.
- You MUST submit official transcripts from all previously-attended institutions. Have official transcripts from all previous institutions sent directly to the Office of Admissions. To be considered official, the transcript must be transmitted directly from the Registrar at your previous school(s) to the George Mason University Office of Admissions. Transcripts may be mailed, faxed or sent electronically to: email@example.com. Unofficial transcripts will not be processed.
If you are applying to Mason while you still have courses in-progress at another college, you must submit your final, official transcript once your final grades are posted.
BAS advisors cannot provide you with the status of your application. You can check your application status online. If you have any questions about the status of your application, please contact Admissions directly.
